About

I started Better Together Tips because I went through a season in my own relationship that sent me searching for real answers.

The more I read — research, books, attachment theory, conflict studies — the more I wanted to share what I was learning in a way that was clear, honest, and actually useful.

That’s how this blog was born.

Who I Am

Profile photo of Sophie Bennett

I’m Sophie Bennett — a writer who is genuinely fascinated by how relationships work, why they struggle, and what makes some couples grow stronger while others grow apart.

I’m not a therapist or a counselor. What I am is someone who takes relationships seriously — who reads the research, sits with the hard questions, and believes that most of us are doing our best with the tools we have.

Better Together Tips is where I share what I learn.

What I Write About

I cover the full range of modern relationships — from the early stages of dating to long-term love, from navigating conflict to surviving long distance, from healing after heartbreak to building something stronger than before.

Every article I write has one goal: to give you something you can actually use.

My Approach

I try to be honest, warm, and practical — all at once. I don’t believe in quick fixes or scripts. I do believe that understanding why something happens in a relationship is the first step to changing it.

I draw on real research and real patterns. I write the way I wish someone had explained things to me — clearly, without judgment, and without pretending love is simple.
